John H. “Jack” Miller, III is the principal attorney and founder of Jack Miller Law, PLLC. He is a regular speaker at various functions, including the Mortgage Lending Institute in Austin, Texas, the Advanced Real Estate Law Course in San Antonio, Texas. He has been a member of the Real Estate Legislative Affairs Committee (RELACs) for the Real Estate Probate and Trust Law ((REPTL) section of the State Bar of Texas, and will serve as Chair of the RELACs in 2023. In connection with RELACs, Jack has written about and spoken regarding legislative updates affecting real estate in Texas over multiple legislative cycles. As Chair of RELACs, Jack is also serving as a member of the REPTL Council of the State Bar of Texas.

Jack grew up in Houston and graduated from Lamar High School. He attended Columbia University in New York City, from which he graduated, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He then attended Georgetown University Law Center, where he received his Juris Doctor. In addition to practicing law in real estate, Jack enjoys reading about and discussing various real estate developments throughout Texas to better understand the economic and political forces that drive residential and commercial real estate forward.
